I was introduced to C4UHC in October 2022 by my predecessor. She suggested that I sit in on a few of C4UHC’s membership meetings to learn about the organization and to hear helpful suggestions from other members on how to deal with everyday credentialing issues. Little did I know that my presence at the meetings would insert me full on into the organization.

Even though I’ve only been a member of C4UHC for a short time, it’s clear that standardization within vendor credentialing is an absolute must. Standardization of requirements would provide clarification for both vendors and health systems, would cut costs, eliminate duplicative efforts, and would ultimately make it safer for all involved, including patients.
